Missing.In.Action.

Well, there are exactly four days until the first performance of my play. I'm getting extremely nervous I must say, but is also extremely exciting. Tonight's practice is going to be slightly entertaining. Ms. Vincent was in a wreck today and she is not going to be able to be there tonight so Ms. Foster is taking over for her and Mr. Mauzy is too, but he doesn't really pay much attention to us when we are saying our lines. Also I was suppose to go trick or treating for UNICEF tonight, but it has also been canceled because Ms. Vincent was in that wreck. That takes a load off my back. But now on to the bad news. Yesterday afternoon Jess and I were suppose to go over to Amber's to put on the "finishing touches" to out government project, but finishing touches weren't what we did. We spent five and a half hours over there trying to get the stupid thing done. Amber promised us that she could get it to burn as a VCD file and then we come to find out when it actually comes time to burn it that she has no clue what she is doing. She tried to figure it out and gave up so I took over. Me and Jessie worked forever on the stupid thing and then I finally got it compressed into one file. It took around ten minutes to do that and then I had to figure out how to save the stupid thing as a mpg file so that I could at least attempt to burn it as a computer file. After I figured it out I put it on the network at Amber's house and then I had to transfer the stupid thing again to Amber's computer then I finally got it to burn. It might be choppy and pixelated, but I don't really care. It's done! Then today, Nobbe wasn't here so we've put off being screwed for one day, but we have to face the music tomorrow. What Amber did totally ruined Jess and my plans last night as well. We were going to go to Escapades and try to find a costume for trick or treat for UNICEF, but that turned out okay since it's cancelled, and then we were going to go to a haunted house, but that got totally screwed to. Then Jess told me this morning that Amber said, "Well atleast I got the thing to burn." SHE GOT THE THING TO BURN!?!?!?!?! I spent freakin' three hours trying to get the stupid thing to burn. If anyone should get points on this project it should be me and Jess for how much freakin time we put into the thing. Anyways, not to put Amber down or anything, but that kind of pissed me off. To end on a happy note though, I'm proud to say that I was accepted to Eastern Kentucky University. Now I don't know for sure if that's where I'm going, but I'd really like to go there. And also anyone who read this, this is a personal invitation to my play on November 4th and 5th at 7:00pm in the Cafeteria. I hope to see you there for the plays debut!
